Freezer divider

We found that we never used more than the lower level in our freezer for frozen goods. And since we decided to have the freezing element low, we added a simple plastic board that is hold in place in the same way as the original shelf. This divide the freezer into a true freezer area in the bottom, and fridge temperature above the board, and it also provides more shelf space.

In addition, we've bought several mesh-bags in different colors,to store items in the freezer. This make it easier to retrieve from that low down in the freezer, and we also use the color coding of the bag for similar food items. Purple = Bread, Red = Meat, etc...

This system works well for us.
