The flag, where to put it?

The outbound is equipped with a good mount for the marine flag staff pole, and have a great hoisting arm for a heavy outboard when/if you need to get the engine aboard. We do not carry a heavy engine, and think the original pole mount make the flag too much hidden behind the dingy when up in the davits.

So our solution is to use the (for us) useless hoisting arm as a flag staff pole. Turns out pretty nice, and brings our flag up higher and in a more prominent position.
