Securing the companionway stairs

We are trying hard to always do the right thing when it comes to safety. But always securing the companionway stairs in an up position, instead of relying on the gas struts has been hard at times. So we came up with a simple solution, using  a piece of slotted rigid tubing. Works like a charm, and easy to deploy, every time.
